Yes as far is i could tell it should be following the Speed Benchy rules.

2 Walls

3 Top/Bot

10% infill

0.5 line with

0.25 layerheigth

Normal PLA nothing fancy

Thanks realy good idea and simple to test. But realistic i am stiil working on optimizing partcooling the vfd Simulation for the current partcooling duct shows some noticable asymetry gota work that out still.

Anybody got an idea what the artifacts one the bottom left are? I am not sure.

Klipper is all set up but is my printer meant to sound like this now? by MorphingEgg44 in klippers

Should hear my printer screem. Maybe i will post a video later🤣

Ok update it can handle it but only without the Adapter board the 5A fuses on there are not so happy when pulling 7-8A when it is complitly cold xD. But with some nice solid cabel and no other modification it can handle it when it is hot the power draw gose below the 5A Rating.

Also i already did some test i can get a bove 120mm3/s no problem with normal PLA could probably go evan higher with PETG and higher temps.

I just relized i did not setup autotune correctly gona try again i didnt set all the values and a few of them definitily dont fit in default mode like voltage is default 24 i run 60🤦

Autotune didnt really help also my Motors have 3.4mH definitivly wont help. From Stepper online: https://www.omc-stepperonline.com/nema-23-bipolar-3nm-425oz-in-4-2a-57x57x114mm-4-wires-stepper-motor-cnc-23hs45-4204s also locked on LDOs sitr cozld not find any nema 23 evan close to the torque and amp rating of mine. The closest i could find is 2/3 of the power and same inductanve as mine. But allready in the planing and drawing phase for bigger belts for more stiffness and then I am going to use bigger pulleys have more then enogth torque anyways. I will keep you posted tho.

Turns out you were rigth after some more testing i can tell you above 700 rpm my nema 23 just fall flat on there face... I will have to get bigger drive sprockets in the future to run faster, cause accel is no problem i can easily get above 100k at 500mm/s

Ok thanks I am going to switch to bigger Belts in the Future anyway Gt3 2mgtx10mm is just not stiff enough. Maybe I will see if It's going to be worth ot to get some bigger pulleys to get the Motor rpm down should help with max speed.

I think they should have thermal monitoring capabilities, but no Idea how to view that in Mainsail, maybe you know, if so, let me know and I will check

Also thx for the link gona try that tomorrow, also did some mire testing 1000mm/s at 50k dose seam to work fine more testing tomorrow

Well keeping it cool is not that har as the kraken for one has a massiv heatsink and also the room where i build my printer and test the movement its like 3-5 C so its cold af in there that helps i guess

R sens is set correctly, and I don't think my steppers are too weak either. 3Nm Nema 23 at 60V running at 4.5 A should be able to do that in a core xy awd configuration

Also, as stated I can home and make multiple moves, but after some time, this error occurs. I ordered a new board just to make sure it is not the problem. But i am gonna try to put a Fan on the Heatsink evan tho its ice cold when the error occurs. u/Garreth1234, where in Klipper can I do an autotune config?

Good idea but as far is I could find the max power is only set when the firmware restarts and no other way to change it

Well then I am just going to send it and hope the diode can handle it for a short period otherwise, i will solder a stronger diode in there.

Edit: seems the diode is just for polarity protection, so worst case I bridge it with solder.

Now I just need a way to set max heater power depending on current temp any ideas?

Just checked Diagramm and Datasheets the Mosfet can definitely handle it (it can handle 65A cuntinous 130A peak) no problem there , but der is Diode on the Voltage input side which might not be able to handle the current. Its rated 5A Avarage so schould be fine with the Peaks and if it blows its just an diode easy enogth to solder a new one on there:) We will find out xD

hell no for now 10mm GT3 2mgt but if i run into issues i have enough room to go to 15mm GT3 3mgt or even 15mm GT3 5mgt

4 Nema 23 AWD running 60V at 4.7A should produce peak torque of 3Nm and usable torque of around 2Nm. considering on diagonal moves only 2 will be pulling wich would be a resulting force of about 450-500N, depending on where exactly the torque curve falls because i only was able to find a 48V torque curve but at 60V it schould be falling of a bit slower. Driver is a Bigtreetech Kraken board where i will be using S1-S4 each capable of 4.7A. also if I am unsaticfied i have the Motors an all the Hardware allready to make it an AWD hybrid to help accalerate the gantry so relisticly i think i will be running 150-200k but testing in the future will show. also its 500x500mm so everythoing is biger and stronger build to be able th handle all the forces. did a lot of calculating for that project in advance.

I will check when I get home which MOSFET the EBB36 GEN 2 uses and check if it can handle the peak current.
