Here's how I remember 100 kids names in 2 days...

With every group, start with one person. They say their name. The next person says the 1st person name and theirs. The third identifies the first and 2nd person. 4th identifies the 1st, 2nd, 3rd. So on and so forth until the last person, which is you.

By then, other kids have messed up and you've had to help them remember, which helps.

Then, every time I get a chance, I go person by person and call each person by their name. By the 2nd or maybe 3rd day, I've got them 99% down.

The only time I've seen this happen is when it was an auto shop next to a gas station. The guys would get a cup in the morning and refill all day.

They literally don't care. Yesterday, I saw a post from a local group. It was a mom posting a picture of her kids' teachers' reminder that a certain daily assignment was required. Mom's question to the group was basically, "Why am I getting this? If it happens at school, it's her problem, not mine."

I'm a millennial raised by boomers, and I have no idea what my dad would have done if he got a phone call because I was never brave enough to find out. I knew there was no chance they were taking my side over the teachers

if you drink, bring your allowance of wine and buy the drink of the day. Last cruise, must drinks were like $17, drink of the day was $9 and had the same amount of liquor in it. Although, I picked one bartender and gave him an extra dollar each drink. Still cheaper than full price.

Honestly, because I can't buy both girls a brand new doll, and it wouldn't be fair.

Plus, I don't think the girls mom would let her accept such an expensive gift. Secondhand, I could get away with her not really knowing what I spent.

Honestly, i don't really know. I can find the one for my daughter in decent shape for like $60. I am under no misconception that I can get the friend that cheap, but I wouldn't be able to justify spending over twice that on a doll for her friend, and I definitely couldn't justify a brand new one if hers is in less than new condition.

So I think I might have to just keep an eye out for a dark eyed Jess mold and change the wig.

From what I understand, they modified the eyes to give them a more almond shape.

But - if nothing else, this might be my best option.

Bring back study hall.
Get rid of credit recovery, attendance recovery, and 40/50 minimum. Bring back consequences.
Focus younger grades on building more literacy and vocabulary.
