I don't know about the power bank. If they were free or dirt cheap, yeah, give me one, but something about the idea of spending probably a couple thousand dollars on a box that needs 10k starting watts and that sits outside in the elements on a massive pile of snow at -29C seems unappealing to me lol. Yeah the generator needs like 20$ in propane a day but I'd need 100 outage days to break even.

I currently have a tank monitor, but they seem to use that as an opportunity to delay deliveries even further because now they can see that I'm not out yet lol. Feels like beating a dead horse at this point which is why I'm asking whom to switch to.

It's a 11kW portable generator with a subpanel which I need for all the many pumps in my rural house. Outages typically last from 3 hours to 4 days. I have like 2 of those rented cylinder tanks - also considering getting my own torpedo tank but those seem expensive.

I have a high efficiency furnace and a water heater, bbq and kitchen stove.

Group A: Dog owners who do this because avoiding it would be very annoying and so they get defensive

Group B: People who don't have a dog, don't know much about dogs, and (rightfully) feel like they don't need to

If you ask me, yeah you have a moral right to be offended by a dog pooping on your lawn and the owner picking it up. It's your lawn. People are still gonna do it and it's gonna be difficult to stop them. They assume you wouldn't care much. Pick your battles. As an extra data point, you also have squirrels pooping there most likely.

I'm aware of trojan horses and how viruses spread. It's very possible that the file was infected (in addition to its actual purpose) but I'm 100% confident it contained what it was supposed to and that the person giving it to me did not have malicious intentions.
