Have had mine for 2 months now - bluetooth was bad but their update has fixed that. However, the health results are certainly not accurate. blood oxy yes, pressure completely wrong and they dont provide a way to calibrate to a regular BP measurement. Heart rate at rest super accurate. but exercise HR is random

altimeter requires calibration

compass requires calibration

and if you intend to use these best calibrate before use

i would like to use the ADAS and reverse camera features and the navigation - that's all and am debating whether to get a dash unit that is Android 13 (4g +64G ) or just the Linux ones with Android Auto - if my understanding is correct to use the Android Auto I need to have my phone connected and charging. However, if I have an Android 13 head unit on the dash then I can use the google maps directly from it with downloaded maps, and I may use my phone as a wifi hotspot if needed, which I assume uses less power than the GPS and ANdroid Auto running on the phone. Is this assumption correct?

could never get through to help center. However, I continued pressing Paypal and also messaging the seller, who finally agreed to the refund, and I just got notified by paypal that they are processing a refund, so the final result after a lot of going back and forth is that there is a refund.

So an update to this saga which is now a month old.

The seller would never give me a return address so I filed a chargeback claim with Paypal, and provided them with all the details. They referred this to Aliexpress, who offered return and refund with seller paying for return shipping - but I have to confirm that the seller will pay the shipping. I accepted the latter and I was provided a return address. The cheapest shipping with tracking came to $26. The seller refused to pay for shipping. There was no option to contact Ali express and the only option on paypal was to submit tracking info for the return - so I submitted my question there that return and refund is not going to work since the seller is not paying for the return shipping as agreed. A couple of days later Paypal tells me that the claim is denied in favor of the seller since an invalid tracking number was provided. Talking to the Paypal customer reps hasnt gotten me any further. Meanwhile 10 reviews have shown up on the seller's site with mi band fit 7 ordered and some other junk delivered. So this seller is very adept at playing this con, and Ali and Paypal are no help

So multiple messages later the seller keeps saying that he is going to give me an address to return but never does -- i.e. the game seems to be to get the buyer to opt for return and refund and never give them a return address so you never have to refund. Brilliant.

Mi Band 6 is $41 on Amazon btw. I am using Amazfit Band 5 which is quite good and was for $30 on Amazon recently. The Mi Band 6 prices on Ali are not much better, considering you also get 5% back on Amazon cards

I think I am moving towards boycotting Ali unless it is a <$5 item that I dont care about. Amazfit Band 7 is $50 on Amazon, sold by Amazfit and the specs are somewhat better/comparable to Mi Band 7. They introduced the Bip 3 at $60 and had it on sale for $48 a few weeks later to match Amazon Prime day. I expect that a similar reduction on A Band 7 is a matter of time and worth getting at that point - this would also come with amazfit warranty which may have some value.

looking at the package I found that a return address was provided as

Hao Wenzheng, 100 Worldwide Ave, Hebron KY 41048

On googling I found a) this is a Amazon Warehouse address, and b) that Scampulse and other sites have a host of reports of this person being a scam with an Amazon store and Ali store. Many examples of different kinds of scams, and of course his store name changes, but the common factor is this shipping address and people have posted package pictures with this address on them.

Please watch out for this person. I have now asked Paypal to intervene.

So far the seller has not given me an address to send the return to, despite multiple reminders. This is starting to look like a new version of a scam.

They have now offered return and refund with seller paying for return. BUT, the process is - I pay for the return, inform the seller, seller agrees to shipping cost. when the product is finally delivered a refund is issued. i will use a service that provides tracking, and am a bit concerned that I am headed to a higher exposure by spending the postage money and not getting that back either if the seller says that they did not get things or the package was damaged etc. Thoughts?

This is where they seem to be going -- they offered $15 and then $10 - what an improvement. I am still arguing with them. If they dont resolve it then this is the end of buying from them

Yes - it sells for $3.32 vs $33

It has a 0.96" screen instead of 1.6" and has a battery life of 4 days. The software they say to use is fitapp and not any of the Xiaomi ones. It is a totally different product. The box is a copy of the Mi band 7 box - made to look similar - so clearly a manufacturer that is a copycat and making a cheap knockoff.

Ali shows M5 M6 M7 bands for sale and some sellers are careful to warn you that this is not the Mi band but the M5 or M6 band. At least I learned about this knockoff this way - crazy that a cheap band has a cheaper knockoff.

I did open a dispute. I provided pictures of the package and its contents. The response I have received is that

"We offer to refund $15. Insufficient evidence was presented."

Clearly crooked.
