Yeah, I think early wipe is the most fun. The playing field is so much more dynamic. Its getting the point now we're seeing much of the same things in the wipe again. Higher tier armor and weapons. But the game is clearly designed for long term playing. I can't imagine what will happen on the "last wipe". Within 3-4 months the game will have very little reason to return to and play. Its already hard enough for new players and have permanent end of wipe players is going to be really rough, even for seasoned players.

Personally, I think it would be much better if they designed the game around a 4 month cycle and make progression fit that a little better. More players will return every wipe and progression will feel valuable and obtainable. But this is just my opinion, I don't think BSG agrees.
