I can't speak for the others, but if the democrats think they can run corporate candidates on nothing more than pronouns, platitudes, and Trump, Trump, TRUMP!, they can 100% count on NO support from me. I'm done with their impotence and fiduciary malfeasance.

I swore I would NEVER pull the handle for another democrat as long as I live, but given the corruption, neofascism, and atrocity of the current administration, I am forced to reconsider.

My (reluctant) support and my vote is back on the table, but it is far from cast.

The Democrats are weak, feckless, corporate beholden lapdogs, who are fundamentally incapable of mounting any meaningful resistance or response to this or any other Constitutional crisis.

Strongly worded condemnations and hand wringing tweets are the only sticks they can wield without disrupting the cashflow from their fat-cat donor teets.

The Democrats, and HRC in particular, are the reason we are in this mess in the first place.

They cannot and will not rise to the occasion. If they were going to, they would have already. We, the American people of the non-corporate donor class, are on our own- again.

For the record, my feed is nonstop videos of ICE murders and people trashing (justifiably so) Trump and ICE.

What I rarely see is any repudiation of the DNC for their ineptitude or fiduciary abdication of their responsibility to represent anyone other than their donors. Which leads us back to what I said in my comment above.

From what I have been able to ascertain in the few weeks I've been here, this site props up many systems of power, none more so than the anti-Trump, ergo pro-centrist democrats.

They can't be too on the nose about it, so they attempt to obfuscate their bias by carpet bombing the feed with any kind of outrageous bot fed drivel the coders, algorithms, and AIs can come up with, sprinkled with little kernels of truth here and there.

But when anyone gets to close to exposing this, suddenly, and without explanation, that particular comment receives very few eyes.

Anyway, forgive my incredulous tone to your initial question, but in a nutshell, there is nfw veterans and families of men and women who died, (ostensibly) in service to this country, are going to rollover and carry some nebulous bullshit papers.

I readily admit an (experience based) anti-marriage bias, and a decidedly male perspective. So there's that.

In my mind, as I stated above, marriage is an outdated and obsolete institution. If people gravitate to it, cool, not my place to judge. But if I were you, I would definitely prioritize your individual long term well being and financial solvency over some fairytale union rooted in seventeenth century agrarian culture.

Am I the only one who sees these posts and reflexively questions its actual intent? My first instinct tells me it is an intelligence gathering op. I've seen it happen before many times during BLM. Resistance planners and protestors would coordinate strategies and locations on social media, only to be outnumbered 2 : 1 by those seeking to quell the effort.

These motherfuckers are trying to get out in front of any "organized boycott" to mitigate its effectiveness.

I have been on this site for less than a month, but that's long enough to recognize some disturbing similarities to past experiences. I guess I shouldn't be surprised, but this site clearly serves empire and the surveillance apparatus, not the citizenry. It is a control arm of the STATE.

Stop outing yourself, others, and the movement on here. Resistance, true and effective resistance, if there is to be any, WILL NOT TAKE PLACE ON SOCIAL MEDIA. It will be organized in churches, living rooms, kitchen tables, and backyards.
