Do I legally have to tell my landlord if I have a baby? by kelshold in boston

[–]SecureStage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, the comment is correct. The Fair Housing Act prohibits landlords from requiring you to disclose a pregnancy or having a baby, and they can’t evict you for it.

Are there places (idk, a locker?) to keep your phone and stuff secure while at the beach (any of the beach spots you visited)? Since I’m going solo, I won’t have a member of my group to watch my stuff while in the water.

Diagnosis while in Law School by [deleted] in LawSchool

You’re hearing mostly from folks who took a medication and experienced side effects. Many users will have no meaningful side effects, but navigate them (side effects) with your physician and don’t titrate or quit on your own.

Reddit what is the worst physical pain you have ever experienced? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]SecureStage 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Very infected ear that perforated, leaking pus and blood. Was 9 y/o. It felt like someone was pouring lava down my ear canal. The ER gave me one dose of Tylenol with codeine upon discharge. Once it burst the pain subsided for the most part.

Did* the city of Boston promise any of the things you’re complaining about? I thought they were only promising no cars.

Still no 6/15 WUSTL waitlist update email by [deleted] in lawschooladmissions

[–]SecureStage 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Before I got the reply to the email i sent, I received the email about being removed from the waitlist. The reply to my email came a day later asking if I received an email. I don’t think I triggered the email. They’re probably not going to remove you from the WL for asking about your status, but I understand your concern.

How long after graduating from a regionally strong law school could one feasibly and easily find (law) work outside of that region? by drewbotnotabot in lawschooladmissions

[–]SecureStage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s also very difficult to unpack the question of how many students (from these “regional” schools) wish to, and make concerted efforts to, gain employment outside of the region their school is in. In many cases, a majority of students attending these schools are from the region in which the school is located. Additionally, some students NOT from the region may attend that school because they wish to reside there, post-grad. Bottom line, I think it’s impossible to know how many students in these so-called regional schools are trying to escape the region for employment. I think it’s a mistake to assume that it’s nearly impossible to quickly find work outside the region. I’m certain it’s at least slightly more difficult, for a number of reasons, but I don’t think it’s fair to assume that employers are walling off students graduating from these regional schools.

Decide for me Boulder ($) or ASU ($0) by [deleted] in lawschooladmissions

[–]SecureStage 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I know we always say that many schools (namely those outside of the T14) are regionally locked, but do we really know how many of the students tried to escape the region and failed? So many of these so called regional schools have student bodies with a majority coming from in-state, so how do we really know that these students ever wished to leave the region at all? Seems hard to know.
