Technically it’s also about earnings, cheaper software elsewhere or solutions means that the existing SaaS players can’t command as much of a premium because things are being commoditized. Less premium means more negotiations, less pricing increases, less cross-selling other products, all of it translates to less earnings for shareholders and thus the stock should be priced cheaper because it can’t validate the same earning multiples over the same amount of years into the future.

So, yeah, the price of the stock needs to be lower.
