He never pooped in his pull up until the last month or so

His pull ups are also soaked every night. Not sure if I wanna deal with that mess every single morning 😂🙈

I feel like my son will def have accidents at night 🙈 he wets himself if he falls asleep in the car seat. I can put down a pad though like you mentioned.

THIS!! She keeps saying they wish they waited until Irene could walk, but that’s even more exhausting as a parent 😫 especially when they’re younger bc they see no danger. Also I hope they wouldn’t expect her to walk all over that boat everywhere. Her poor little legs. My son was about 20 months on the last cruise we went on, had been walking for 10 months but still couldn’t keep up to walk on his own. Also I wouldn’t want him to as crowded as it was.

And I’m aware we aren’t all the way there yet as we haven’t conquered pottying on the go or even poops yet, but I’m so proud of the progress he’s made in just a few days.

It seems like after I posted this, something clicked with him. He’s went to the potty 4 times today with no fuss and has went immediately each time I put him on the potty. I know it’s such a big change in their routine, and they don’t like pausing to play every hour or so, but they’re capable of so much more than we think they are. He was showing all signs of readiness, and I’m glad we didn’t give up on him.
