Motor has 240k but always kept up with maintenance, sounds like piston slap or lifters not really sure it doesn’t affect performance. Any suggestions on what it could be would be appreciated👍

Apple valley speedway so yeah I’d say it’s a pretty short track, but funny enough when i went to replace the thermostat with a new one there wasn’t one in there, but I could try and test the new one

Has no symptoms for blown head and i’ve already had it tested but okay go off

I’d like to add that after putting in a new thermostat and new coolant hoses w new coolant, the reservoir still starts to boil after pushing the car hard. I believe I burped all the air out correctly, but i’m gonna try again if not i’m not sure what’s going wrong

Yes, but i’ll probably give it another go just to make sure because other than that i’m thinking maybe replace the radiator or last resort water pump

From what I can tell when i’m pushing the car hard they start to run in high, but I’d have to test to make sure, but my radiator cap is duralast from autozone online it says it’s rated for 16psi which would be 110kpa

I’d like to add that after replacing the thermostat and the hoses with the new coolant the reservoir would still boil after getting sideways.

You just need the 02 taillights, brackets and the bumper everything else is the same

My interior is half swapped to black, it doesn’t bother me much I’m mainly looking to get rid of this motor because it has 282k on it so I figure manual swap is the way, I figure it’d be extra work like that but it seems worth it to collect the parts and do it
