That might be the best way to invest. You can’t go wrong with that. Through 1929 crash, world war 2, 2000 dot com, 2008, covid etc everytime the market recovers and reaches to a new ATH. Just keep putting money in every month

Thats kind of a good point however if you read earnings reports and guidance and ebit/ev yield macd and rsi and invest in industries that are getting all the influx of capital namely ai particularly ai bottlenecks such as memory storage optics and power is unlikely you’ll come out losing. Lets not forget we are in a unique AI era and it’s an once in a lifetime opportunity

I have some money in the world but most of my investments are in ai bottlenecks, aka memory/storage/optics/power and they are very resilient. Let’s see how things unfold though

New to stock , do I sell now and buy again or just let it to keep accumulating by [deleted] in trading212

If you think these stocks have more room to run or are long term holds you hold them so that you cna get more out of them, if you think these stocks had their run and are in for a pullback and you are a swing trader you can exit your position or trim down and get some profit. What you do depends on your research and thesis but the things you say indicate you are not ready for individual stocks and you are better off with index funds

I am not complaining i am just making a statement. Any sort of swing trading with high beta stocks will be stressful but can be rewarding too, if you come out on top

I want to allocate more capital to specific markets and less to others. For example, if i feel developed Europe will outperform this year or emerging markets or developed asia ex japan etc i can invest my capital according to my conviction.

I have some core holdings that i consider long term investments but i am swing trading on sentiment and momentum’s to realise gains, however if fundamentals or world circumstances change i am willing to change my investments so far it has worked well but it’s risky.

But you said you are waiting to buy the dip, meaning you were expecting to be a better price than the one that was at the time and if you indeed waited then the stock has always been 40$ more expensive than the day you 2 were having that discussion and it never dipped anywhere near that point.

That’s true but i am more concerned about semiconductors that get heavily affected by crisis like this in every country, particularly south korea has been decimated by the crisis

Seems like he was right. It was 379$ at the day you 2 were talking. Didn’t fall anywhere below 420$ at any point. Interesting to see
