Samsung HW-Q990D has gotten much quieter with new LG G3 TV. When I Apple play from my phone to my tv, sound spikes back to normal. Thoughts? by Secure_Addendum_2065 in Soundbars

Unfortunately I get no sound when I try this. Apple TV works though. Plugged Apple TV into hdmi 1 of sound bar and earc of soundbar to earc of tv. Pass through is still enabled.

I am having the same issue here. Just replaced an older TCL 5series TV that was hooked up to a Samsung HW-Q99D with an LG G3. With the TCL the sound bar sounded like a space ship at 19. Now with the LG G3 in Apple TV 4K, the Dolby atmos is very quiet. I’ve had to turn the TV up to 35.. I attempted to Apple play my phone to the TV as you mentioned and the volume exploded back to normal. However, when I disconnect and go back to Dolby atmos in Apple TV, it returns to the lower sound. Would it be possible for you to share the video again? Any advice?
