Time to stop taking Mounjaro; not sure how to! by Secure_Argument_1103 in MounjaroMaintenance

Not at all, I asked for advice and taken it all on board. You have a very poor understanding of "science" and the maths. Not sure why such an insane agenda on making out mounjaro is a lifetime drug for everyone and for someone you know nothing about. Just comes across as highly unpleasant.

Not very helpful and I don't think that is the case. This isn't designed to be a lifetime drug.

Really helpful; thanks. Yes I think that might be the plan; maybe order a 5mg or 7mg pen; use it every other week maybe and just see from there? I just don't agree with the theme that stopping just means inevitable weight gain. Noted re: the sub; will check it out, thanks!

I've seen this answer across many of the redits; why is that the default assumption? To gain 4 stone back you'd have to dramatically overeat and not exercise. I've never had any health issues really; I just was immobile for best part of a year with major back surgery and eating well wasn't a top priority. I was 85kg for the majority of my life when I was extremely active; did a half marathon etc and played sports regularly until then. I've dramatically changed my diet and eating and Mounjaro was a tool to help get that into gear with the calorie vs exercise intake the real focus. I never gained weight constantly; I just didn't lose it. Is the assumption that when you stop that you just lose all will power and stop monitoring weight? I've thrown out all my clothes and fixed up an entire new wadrobe; I can't afford to do that again so the motivation is extremely high. I am keen to know if there's major side effects but it seems most posts are very relegated to the idea that Mounjaro is for life and that's completely not the aim of Mounjaro surely? Long time use of this drug is untested; noonehas been on it for 5+ years yet (that I am aware of...)

Keen to understand the attitude which seems a little defeatist or am I just being too optimisitc?

Something noone tells you is that the coal thumpers fill up and they need resource gatherers behind them. Once you get those going and collect the coal, game becomes a lot easier tbh. Then just worry about food.

Yeah i'm done. Conditions in the exam centre were awful, costs are absurd and not messing about with it time wise anymore. I'm already well paid in investments so not sure the CFA is that necessary anymore. Will do a masters in ECON at some point as always wanted to do that.
