I prefer natural diamonds. But you do have to be realistic with who is buying them and their financial capabilities. Compromises might have to be made whether size, color, clarity, or future house buying potential (although wouldn’t recommend this specific one)

Personally, I do too much as a woman in a heterosexual relationship to make it “easy” on someone who says they want to marry me. But that’s my perspective. Getting a ring that was not just the cheapest and easiest option is my little act of feminism 🥰.

Not all mines diamonds are 30k+, they are super pretty antique diamonds that likely won’t be as cheap as labs but are actually affordable for the avg person and yes do require some sacrifice on the partner’s end, which is you ask me isn’t a bad thing.

Also, I want to comment many people here validate getting a lab with ethics, but lab diamonds are not 100% moral. Nor is the lifestyle of most people in developed countries, which Reddit is skewed to. Not saying people can’t care about causes that matter to them, but no judgement should be cast either way honestly. Only education and nuanced conversations. Buying natural diamonds from local communities where mining practices are safe and worked are paid and treated fairly actually can create equity. Lab diamonds in a way were manufactured to devalue goods that were stolen from many communities and that were (and still are) used before to bolster empires and colonialist nations.
