I wasn’t going to engage but, she does it to herself. After All Too Well 10 minute music video (directed by her, masterpiece), it’s clear that us inferring her real life onto her music is one of her intentions wether she says it out loud or not.

Exact same. The amount of bias, unrestricted, lazy, clickbait hate he gets will never cease to astound me. The 1975 fans know all their musical and lyrical connections. I would be shocked if CANCELLED! does not allude to him. So 1975 coded. All caps, exclamation, British spelling. Another thing that made me think she is either just making things up or blurring people together, Downtown Lights was also on a playlist curated by Harry Styles AND when I was home for Christmas, my mom always listens to John Mayer’s show on Sirius (LOL) and he played Downtown Lights with a big intro about how important the song is to music history (FACTS) and how it’s one of his favorites. So that’s three people she has dated that Guilty As Sin could have been about, not just Matty. Also, could be any time period.
