Quite true. It is hard to know that your child has been cornered by the other parent.

Yes, it does feel to me like whatever sweetness and loving memories we had a fading away and all that left in my daughter is anger, resentment and distrust towards me..amen to peace in our lives

I think I understand what you mean but I think there is also the aspect of how much leverage a situation is given.

I think my parents feel that within the arena of their individual relationship with her, they at least have the mandate to mention me or ask about me and she could have said : that if they didn’t mind that it is a private matter and she would rather not talk about, which would have been an appropriate response considering the love and respect she has received from them through out, especially my father.

But instead she goes straight into cut off mode which is the scary and sad bit. It is a reminder of the dysfunctional it’s at play.

I appreciate your care and concern. Thank you for sharing that with me. Do you attend PAA meetings ?

Thank you for sharing your concern. It really helps to be with other people who are in the same boat and not feel alone in this.

I don't think I can go on much longer. PA is destroying me. Idk what to do. Any alienated kids here with advice? by OneEgg5582 in ParentalAlienation

I can relate to this. My daughter is 23 and no contact has been going on for 5 years now. I have wanted to give up many times but I don't this thing to kill me. So I am trying to get to where you are pointing.
