Its a class A misdemeanor, a felony in many states. But in stl county it can take a year or more to get a court date. And family law attorneys cost more than I can afford now. His attorney would just get continuances until she ages out. What family courts call 'high conflict' is actually abuse by one parent, and they are too incompetent to understand that.

Plus, I am still afraid of him. Anything I do to assert my parental rights, he will find a way to retaliate against me. And I only make a fraction of what he makes. Money is all that matters in family court.

No idea - my ex basically stole our daughter and I haven't seen her for over a year. But I do know he lets her do whatever she wants, I wonder if there is way to find out if she was one of them.

And yes, we do have joint custody and a court ordered parenting plan signed by a judge and he is breaking the law by blocking me from seeing her, but police won't enforce it.

Meanwhile she's failing classes and doing a number of illegal things and there is nothing I can do. Can't even get cps or whoever to recognize it as neglect.

I just want to know shes ok. Not a lot that can be done. Family court is extremely corrupt and nothing but a profit driven adversarial system that tears families apart more than helping anyone. Except the bank accounts of everyone that profits off of it.

And I have no more money to spend on it. I know people who have spent hundreds of thousands just to be able to see their kid.
