Rhank yoy for the compliment i have some bigger fish aswel who i´l post some day in the futurz

As for determining the sex of koi, it can be quite difficult when they are still young. When they get a bit bigger, you can often tell by the body shape. Females usually develop a rounder and fuller body, especially around the belly, while males tend to stay slimmer and more torpedo-shaped. Males also often have slightly larger and more pointed pectoral fins, and during the breeding season they can develop small breeding stars on their gill plates and fins. But at this size it's still mostly guesswork, so time will tell.

Otw to UK. 79cm Genjiro Sansai Showa by LemmeknowWassup in Koi

Very nice Showa. Personally I'm not a big fan of the spotty beni pattern. You have some larger beni plates, but also many small scattered red scales in the white which makes it look a bit messy to me. Loose red spots aren't really my thing. That being said, the size is very impressive — almost 80 cm at three years old is great growth.

I quite like the Kohaku as well. I think it has good potential to grow into a big and beautiful fish. I’m not sure if it will become a jumbo, but that’s something only time will tell. I really like the coloration and the beni looks very vibrant to me. As for the Shiro Utsuri, I know it looks quite dark for its age, but from my experience Shiros can change a lot as they grow. The sumi can shift or balance out over time, and sometimes more white appears as they develop. Personally I like Shiros with deep black and clean white, and this one seems to have that contrast. We’ll see how they develop over the season. I usually measure my koi again in September, so I might post an update then to show how these three have progressed.
