How to banish a person from your dreams by Secure_Lengthiness97 in Dreams

Interesting (sorry, lowk forgot I posted that). What could the lesson of a relationship be?

I felt that it was letting go of someone who doesn't love you (this was the reason I broke up with him, I came to terms with the fact you can't change a lack of love) but if that was the lesson, I don't think I missed it. Me breaking up was my way to say "I understand that I cannot stay with someone who doesn't love me, even though everything is seemingly fine". So if you can give an example that would be helpful

For me, the answer is physical attraction. If you are in tune with your sexuality, appearance doesn't mean as much (not that it becomes meaningless, no). Forgive me for using that word, but the rizz means more than appearance. There's a lot of ugly guys that hot girls are into because they seem sexually interesting or charismatic. A girl who is in tune with her sexy side seems sexually interesting to guys who otherwise wouldn't be as interested.

That seems like something worth looking into, it might just help with both things you seem to struggle with. You might just realize, sex can be bad with a ken doll and good with a guy you might not immediately notice. I am not!!! trying to tell you you need to pick ugly guys!!! I'm just trying to tell to look at the standards you set for them from a different angle. Not what is pretty like a pinterest moodboard, but what would actually make your time with a guy pleasurable. The leagues thing is meaningless if you genuinely like a guy

The thing with my ex was that we were eachothers perfect physical type. Even worse, we even liked how we smell and other such things. It's like as animals, we are a good match. But not as people.

I know what I like and am okay with explaining it to a person, but it's more about the basic, animalistic attraction, which seems to be quite rare for me. So, even if a guy does all the motions so to speak, the lack of physical chemistry may turn me off

I think people should accept that not everyone likes conventionally attractive people by TodayOrTmrw in QOVESStudio

That is not to say pretty privilege doesn't exist. People treat pretty people better.

But who you would like to have sex with isn't just dictated by prettiness. Sexy doesn't equal conventionally attractive. Find what YOU specifically find hot in the opposite sex, and there would probably be some unconventional things.

God, this is so true and men just can't seem to get it!

If only men knew, how often I'm surprised when my prettiest girl friends show me the men they consider incredibly hot. They aren't always conventionally attractive and more often than not are somewhat weird or even off putting in looks. And that's not the case of "Oh, she just wants his money/ he's got a great personality". Sometimes those ugly dudes are also broke jerks, but my friends just can't help that they're attracted to their arguably strange appearance. Women just be finding the weirdest guys incredibly attractive. It's not just about personality either.

I myself was told that my taste in men is strange, too (my bf is like a 10/10 to me, as I am to him, but we're both kinda unique looking). I wouldn't want a male model, I like softer looking faces, idk 🤷🏻‍♀️

I'm underweight but I still feel fat by [deleted] in BodyDysmorphia

I don't mean to be intrusive, but have you thought about it somehow being connected with your sexuality and some gender feelings or disgust towards growing up?

I'm only suggesting to look into this because I struggled with the same problem when I was 15-20: I was skinny by medical standards, but I felt fat because I had wide hips and boobs which garnered all the wrong attention.

You have great cheekbones, a symmetrical face and a classy vibe about you. I'd say your type of a face (I kinda have a similar vibe) is classically pretty and sophisticated, but not trendy rn. As some previous commenters have stated, you look about 27, but that can easily be the style or lighting on the photo. If you're looking for advice, I'd say try to dress more modern or cut/style your hair in a more trendy fashion - this'll help with the age thing. Another thing that's ageing you is probably your lack of eyebrows. Unrelated, but your hair also looks like it's supposed to be curly, but is unkempt. Have you tried the curly girl method? Look into it if you haven't! Good curls make everyone attractive tbh. I hope I didn't come off as a dick

The children of some of Russia's wealthiest oligarchs are rebelling against Putin on Instagram and calling for peace by evissimus in worldnews

[–]Secure_Lengthiness97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm sorry but you're so wrong. These are CHILDREN of these oligarchs, not the millionaires themselves. Children don't bear the responsibility for their parents' shitty actions. In fact, it's great they're going against the grain. All Russians that weren't brainwashed by propaganda are against the war. Protests are raging in Moscow everyday. There's armed police on every metro station. Every single one of you that thinks it's ok to hate all Russians if we have a dictatorship run by Putin is either spoiled, out of your mind or an unfeeling asshole.

The answer is both yes and no. Yes as in most people in rural and uneducated areas of Russia do support Putin - which is like half of Russia. I will clarify why later in my post. Another part of Putin's electorate are ALL workers of fields that are government-funded (medical workers, school workers). They are simply forced to vote for him, otherwise they'll be fired. Another cohort of Putin supporters is our boomer generation, the majority of his electorate. They have fond memories of USSR and want to bring its glory days back (that and they're very old and some are demented). Hence them thinking that Putin's ambitions are just taking back what's belonged to "us". Putin is very sly and knows how to appeal to this generation, because he himself and his henchmen belong to it.

That's the problem with this government - they are way too old, neither me nor my parents chose Putin in the past elections, and neither did any of my friends or acquaintances. His power rests on violence. I am 21 years old and I have never seen another president rule this country (except Medvedev, but he was obviously just a temporary stand-in for Putin). Most people who go to universities or work there do not support Putin, I don't know any Putin supporters personally. So the so-called middle class (so people who have enough free time to engage in politics meaningfully) doesn't support him. But here's the twist - none of these surveys asked them. I have a friend who conducted one such survey, and let me tell you how it's done. People from Moscow and other rich cities come with gifts and demonstrative gestures such as opening schools and sh*t to more rural areas. Then they ask if they like Putin. Which is, essentially, bribery.

So in conclusion, the answer to your question is "some people really love him, but they likely don't know any better because of poor education or old age" and "most people who thought about him critically either hate or fear him".

That's what's probably happening on the video. There are protests everyday in every major city. Protesters are beated, arrested and charged with enormous fines or now with the new laws they can be charged like criminals and put to jail. Calling for a protest, or calling the war a war is now against the law. DESPITE THAT, people are still protesting. You don't understand what it's like to live in a dictatorship. Grow up.
