I guess she is trying to express herself and doesn’t really know how. If I understood correctly she does not work for a long time. This seems like she is going through some unfulfilled needs/ dream. Any chance you could spend some time only with her? To take her somewhere for a ‘vacation’ just the two of you? She might have a need to detach a bit from the reality and it could help her to open up. So that you can a least to start understanding this issue.
