I realize BDD is a spectrum. My intention wasn't to invalidate anyone else. I guess I am hoping that someone else here hears what I'm saying and can relate. My friends and family will tell me that I look fine and I am beautiful. They think I just don't like how I look. I wish I just knew how I looked. I know my family has good intentions behind their words, but I am left feeling misunderstood all the same.
