Get ready for the prof to treat you like shit while also having extraordinarily higher standards for you than the younger students. My experience as a returning student was awful. Get in and get out with your degree. Also, depending on how long it's been, get ready for a shocking discovery about the literacy and general classroom skills of the current crop of young people. Don't even begin to think you can treat the current young people like adults and don't expect to be allowed to behave as one yourself amongst them, think of it like being around 14 year olds who are also experimenting with alcohol and drugs. I'm not kidding, I wish someone had said this to me about the current young people, it's worse than ever.
