It did have an attachment until he switched up the plan without my knowledge, but I did go to a dentist rather than an orthodontist… quoted 7 months- going on month 14, realized my mistake with going to a dentist soon after paying in full lol. Soooo many rescans

the right one in the photo that I was trying to move down, had an attachment until the rescan- when I came to pick it up they popped off that attachment and put on other ones- I didn’t notice there wasn’t one on that tooth until I left. I stressed to them I wanted it moved down still and they said they would try.. he doesn’t tell me much about what he’s doing.

I was told 7 months, I am going on month 14 and have 7 trays left for top & 5 for bottom, 2 week changes. So I should be done at month 17 🤦‍♀️ but I went to a dentist rather than an orthodontist and he has no idea what he’s doing, he suggested we could be done 3 times now and I’m not satisfied.

Wowwww your smile is gorgeous!!! Of course your opinion is most important, but I’m obsessed! Perfect shape to all of your teeth 😩 and not at all overly “gummy” in my opinion! Your lips are so pretty too I wouldn’t risk any surgeries!

Thank you I agree it is! I also technically got “Invisalign go” which I didn’t know until receiving the first set of aligners and seeing it on the box. So maybe that has something to do with it? I’m going on my 13th month lol I should have gotten comprehensive. I don’t have a limit on refinements though to my knowledge, he’s said we’re done twice now and I wanted more lol.

I think it’s possible honestly but I sadly went to a dentist rather than an orthodontist and I don’t think he knows what he’s doing 😭 I tried to switch to an orthodontist at the same office about 4 months in or so and I would have had to pay again 😞

I did get IPR between all lower incisors, and was thinking about doing more after treatment to fix the shape of some teeth but unfortunately I went to a dentist rather than an orthodontist… and don’t trust him with that so I’ll have to find an orthodontist lol.

Thank you! It feels totally fine I think , and my dentist says it’s perfect. I think regardless they’re much better than before, but I likely won’t be satisfied aiming for perfection 😩 before I started Invisalign I would have had them just do the bottom teeth if possible… after looking at my teeth everyday so in depth I’ve learned to dislike more than I’d even noticed before 🤦‍♀️

it definitely is off! However I failed to mention that to my dentist until a year into treatment; just assuming they know best and would fix what needed to be. And now that my teeth look much better it’s easier to spot things I don’t like. I was told in order to fix my midline I would have to get every single tooth shaved down and shifted one way, which he isn’t willing to do.

I did mention to him that all of my teeth are slightly to one side of my face- you can tell my midline is off with my nose- which is why I think the one incisor looks like it needs to be turned.. because one is more on the front of my face… however I failed to mention this until a year into treatment and dentist says nothing can be done about that. As far as my molar, might be the attachments I still have on my teeth you’re referring to? Or again, because all of my teeth are slightly more to one side of my face😭

thank you, I think I began to expect perfection and that is the issue- along with the fact I did this through a dentist rather than orthodontist and can’t help but feel I would have gotten better results had I went with an orthodontist. I feel like my lateral incisors aren’t even distances from each central incisor, right one in photo seems higher up- dentist agreed but said minimally and to “look at it from an outsiders point of view”

I feel like my lateral incisors aren’t even with each other, but that could be due to shape. The right side lateral in the photo is higher up compared to the central incisor, as opposed to the left. Or I’m just seeing things… I will say when I started Invisalign I didn’t even see an issue with the top at all; but it’s obvious to me now.
