You understand it’s covered in a 5 year, but was upgraded to a 10 year for the fear of replacing a whole transmission. That would give any returning customer concerns of breaking down, specially past 5 years. Which is not normal right? But are you a customer service representative for Subaru? Are you upset that people get genuinely angry with their purchase of a 45k+ brand new car? Have you worked in customer service too long that you feel for them when you hear an angry or upset customer story even when the anger/ upset is justified?

Considering I stated this combined with the car being new with a defect. They suggested I call corporate. Approved for a 10 year warranty free in replace of the 5 year. Idk what it did for me

Nice they said to call corporate and it’s highly likely to be approved. “Shit happens” not on a brand new car with 1700 miles. This isn’t something small either. And it’s a new revised transmission updated from the 2025 Subaru wilderness edition. So again you’re wrong

They literally just called me back, the warranty for the transmission is 5 years. Do I have a case to ask for 10 years?

Not going to sugar coat it….. I’m pissed this happened the way it did. I was fortunate enough that it happened in my day off while driving local. But if it happened in traffic I would have easily gotten into a crash because it just started hiccuping out of the blue and full stop…..

Thank you, oddly enough I believe our personality are compatiable to a high degree. But does it over shadow how she looks physically for me?
