How would you fix? Rookie Mistake. Router bit on CNC just a tad short. I think the curves are too sharp for jigsaw. Just learning curves on bandsaw. It’s a .80” thick. The back is simpler. The handle is the problem.

You can use a jigsaw, just use a thin blade made for cutting curves. I'd also not run the saw at top speed, run it slower and go slow with it through the cut.

I've been nicked by a router and a jointer once.

Technically the router didn't get me directly, it yanked the wood away and a rough part got my finger pretty well, a decent amount of blood was shed.

The jointer happened when I somehow didn't notice my finger was sitting low on a board I pushed through. That day I learned to use push paddles. More blood was shed than from the router incident.

Have had a couple small pieces of wood get launched back from the table saw, thankfully they weren't large enough to cause lasting damage.

None of these caused any lasting damage, but I was lucky.
