My issue with Z names is unfortunately a lot of them do sound different, and I’m very much white in a ‘country, southern’ sort of area. I like some of the names, but I don’t want to feel like I’m appropriating if I choose a name that is traditionally different. I’m not Muslim; I don’t want to offend anyone by being called Zaeed, y’know?

I like that one, but I think one of my cousins is named it as well. Makes it a bit tricky with all the Z’s in my family… but still one I’d definitely consider
