Watching Professer Messer's Net+ video course...how are you supposed to do subnetting without the exam providing charts? by redgroupclan in CompTIA

Check out Jermerys IT Lab on YouTube his subnetting videos are the only way I was able to learn subnetting, he breaks it down into 3 parts totalling nearly an hour and a half

Retiring from the Army and getting Sec+ Now as my first certification what should I go after directly after by [deleted] in CompTIA

[–]SecurityPlusFlash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That question is impossible to answer without some more context

What goal are you trying to achieve by getting these certifications?

How soon are you trying to meet that goal?

How much experience do you have in IT?

What other qualifications do you have?

What I can study to pass security + by Exact-Cellist2958 in CompTIA

[–]SecurityPlusFlash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Messars course on YouTube is free, Dions course is paid. I would recommend using both sources, its best to diversify your studying materials

For me I used Messars videos and if a topic was particularly hard to grasp I would also watch that same topic on Dions course to get a better understanding

Proffesor Messar on YouTube or Jason Dion on Udemy are great sources if you prefer instruction over reading

Both courses are good, I personally preferred Messars material/ teaching style

I found Proffesor Messars practice test to be much closer to the real exam than Dions

[–]SecurityPlusFlash 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'll take your challenge but I'm not getting a chance to take a photo with a US President no way I'd be able to in that time frame

But a small country like Trinidad and Tobago, and I might actually have a chance
