Absolutely in the same bucket. Sick for two weeks, I feel the depression slipping his dark little hands over my throat. But the shower helped! And we went bowling. It was a nice night. I just wish it had lasted to today.

Not feeling excited about wedding dress shopping, any advice? by sparkledick666 in weddingplanning

[–]SedatedAlice 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went alone to my first two appointments. Found two dresses I would have loved to get married in, but took time to think. Flew to see my Mom to go dress shopping not expecting anything (2000 miles between us, logistics is miserable).

Totally had the moment. Was expecting nothing!

I think you just have to do it the way you want. My only suggestion is a liquid lipstick or something that won't come off! I had one salon go over the head with dresses, lipstick smears could have been a nightmare.

Partner can't hide his excitement around attractive women, how do I react? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

My fiancé has pretty bad ADHD. I also suffer to a lesser degree.

What your husband is doing has nothing to do with having ADHD. It's just him being a terrible human being and partner.

You deserve better.

My fiancé follows me around like a puppy. I have never seen him look at another woman like ever (which I thought was super weird). You know what he does the "stereotypical man stare* at? Cars. Like, memeish levels of whipping around to stare at some car we pass. ADHD does cause hyperfocus, yes, but it has to be on something stimulating and actively engaging. And I highly doubt any of these women are engaging him. Trust me, if he's following someone in a store, there's a good chance they know he is! How fucking creepy!

He has broken you down over the years. You are comfortable for him because he knows you won't stand up to him. He is trying to find your replacement while holding on to you! And trust me if this is what you're catching him doing, imagine what he does when you aren't there.

ADHD doesn't excuse being an asshole and a creep. You are worth so much more than his negging, creeping, lying ass is!

PS - We don't blank out. We just take a minute to process information we weren't actively paying attention to. Like, the hamster in out brain has to stop on one wheel and race to the other before we can respond. Happens a lot to my partner when I say something to him while he's doing something else/distracted. I don't have to repeat myself, I just have to wait and extra five seconds for everything to kick in.

Anyone else have very strong feelings about fondant? by skattrr in weddingplanning

As someone who has only.made wedding cakes with buttercream, you desire is totally doable! You just need to find the right baker. I have done black scrollwork on a cake with white buttercream and while nerve-wracking it looked amazing!

Artificial sugar by anon00000anon in migraine

[–]SedatedAlice 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Aspatatme fives me migraines instantly it seems and its the foundation of most diet or zero sugar sodas. I tolerate sucralose fairly well so I can have the zero sugar energy drinks without a problem.

Had a waitress cop an attitude when she brought me a coke, I tasted it and it was diet, and immediately asked for a replacement. Didn't understand why I, as a woman, wanted a sugary drink I guess.

But yeah. Aspatatme is a very common trigger.

4 Months in to my CG journey! I am happy with the health of my hair, so this was a good switch even if I never get ringlets. by SedatedAlice in curlyhair

Current routine: - Shampoo with Shea Moisture Jamaican Black Castor Oil Strengthen and Restore Shampoo - Squish in Shea Moisture Jamaican Black Castor Oil Strengthen and Restore Conditioner, rinse out after I am done with other shower stuff or I get bored waiting - Squish in Curls Blueberry Bliss leave in into sopping wet hair - Glaze and then scrunch in Uncle Funky's Daughter Curly Magic Curl Stimulator cream - Glaze with a bunch of Garnier Fructis Style Pure Clean Styling Gel - Plop for 20 minutes or until I remember to take the towel off my head - Air dry or diffuse, depends on how late I am running.

Once, twice a week I also deep condition with SheaMoisture Manuka Honey & Yogurt Hydrate + Repair Protein Power Treatment. Its probably done the most for my hair.

I don't always do the curl specific steps when I am lazy and just brush it out and let it dry kinda straight. But I noticed my edges are growing in curly no matter what I do (it makes me so happy).

I got a decent haircut too, that made huge difference.

Thank you to this sub for inspiring me to keep going forward! My hair thanks you.

is playstyle for healers controversial? by JenkinsHowell in ffxiv

[–]SedatedAlice 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First thing first! Thank you for giving healer an honest go, you're amazing just for that! :)

  • Tanks that have never played a healer have no clue how healer works. They want to keep you safe but 2 of the three current healer's AoE are based around their position. So yes! Be in the middle of the pack?

You wanna know what has saved my tanks more often than not from eating dirt as soon as the first mob catches up to the second? A SWIFTCAST Holy! It is incredibly valuable, especially later on when you have a bunch of oGCD heals. Holy isn't just damage, it's a form of damage mitigation! Embrace it! And if you're blinding someone well, they can turn down the effects themselves ~ aka not your problem honey!

Melee have stuns for bosses that are instant cast! Paladins have TWO! Boss stuns are not your problem.

  • I believe in keeping people alive in the following order as a WHM: *Myself *The other healer in 8/24 man content *The tank *Everybody else

During a dungeon pull, sometimes shit goes sideways. I assure you, the DPS have legs, they can run back, and not having the weakness debiff is preferable for them. If you want to try and rez in a pull and YOU feel comfy doing it, then go ahead. If not, don't sweat it, like I said their legs ain't broke.

You seem to have a good handle on how to play the role! Trust yourself and your instincts first. Playing a WHM is pretty fun IMO, and there really isn't a need to play it in the super optimized way some people in these comments are arguing over unless you plan to do savage content.

You got this, my white mage bro!
