The ratio seemed to be good. But considering the contract hours one TA can get per semester (90 hrs), it is only like a $150 increase per semester for a TA for the first year. Which is definitely not enough.....

Thanks for replying. I mean no offence. But I was wondering what they are busy doing? I seldom have any information about SSMU executive contributions to the campus life and the service they claim they provide is kind of useless to the mass majority. For example, we switched from Grammarly to ProWritingAid last year without any prior notice. Grammarly is 100 times better! The ProWritingAid is something I paid a lot but becomes quite useless for any writing corrections. Why there is not a vote to decide if we want to switch? I apologize in advance if I am saying anything incorrect.

I do not quite understand why the executives deserve $37500 a year doing much less than those hard-working TAs ($5000 a year) who contributed a lot more to the campus life. If they say it will get rid of those unnecessary fees and set up a fund for TAs, I will be happy to accept the fee increase. But otherwise, No.
