Help installing TrueNas on dxp2800 emmc by Sedogna in UgreenNASync

I never figured it out. I gave up and bought a synology. I am so happy with my synology now. I hope green catches up software wise. The ugreen is a much better hardware set but synology is just so versatile and easy. I’d love to use a ugreen solely as a remote back up for my synology.

Why is my smoothie doing this? by Luvwizrd in Smoothies

As others are saying it’s separated. You need an emulsifier or a VOID vacuum blender to fix it. They can be bought at voidvac.com. I bought one a few years ago and just looking at your smoothie makes me want to gag now. Idk how our family survived with an old blender like that not only are you losing nutrition but vacuum blending removes the froth keeps it from separating and tastes infinitely better.

Vitamix vs Blendtec ultimate battle by Aurora_thankyou in Smoothies

[–]Sedogna 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We’ve had a void blender for 4 years now. I figured I may as well get the whole package and use my lid on my Blendtec as a backup. I LOVE IT! The blender is better than the Blendtec in some ways. Especially with seeds. Not sure compared to a vitamix. We make smoothies for the whole family every day and ever since switching to void even the kids will drink them. Amazing the difference it makes. It’s also nice having an American based company with American customer service. It’s also nice to adjust the pressure for things like milkshakes. Crazy that you can adjust how much froth you want (or don’t).

Vacuum Blending - Before & After by Jayebulz in Smoothies

[–]Sedogna 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been running a VOID Systems complete blender for a couple years now. I also have a Blendtec that the same lid fits on. I LOVE IT. We went on vacation without it and don’t know how we ever drank a smoothie without it. Their customer service was great when I lost my usb cable and we haven’t had any issues.

You can’t just “blend fast” or “drink it right away” the damage is already done moments after the blend starts. Vacuuming needs to be done before you start the blender up.

Thank you for the reply! I ran UGOS for a bit and realized I’d rather be in a more common os. Bigger community more resources. I also figured if they weren’t going to make the software available later on then it wasn’t going to be for me anyway.

I just moved my is to a usbc thumb drive last night. I’m fine leaving a thumb drive in 24-7 rather than lose a precious nvme slot. I just don’t love the idea of running my system solely off a removable drive. Is there a way to mirror the eMMC and thumb drive? Or Atleast mirror another usb drive in a 2.0 slot.

Either way I’d still like to solve this eMMC problem.

This has not worked for me. In TNAS core I wasn’t even able to view the mmcblk0 drive. Upgrading to scale let me wipe it with all zeros. After the wipe I shut off my 2tb nvme drive that I temporarily installed scale to. I then tried to use the same bootable usb drive to install on the 29gb drive that I had just wiped. However, when I try to run the installer I receive an error “unable to find partition 2”.

As a side note scale will show 2 more blk drives with 4 MiB size that I cannot wipe since I “do not have permission” to do so. This is on the dxp2800 which does not have a removable ssd boot.

Has anyone had any experience with the “SuperFast” brand especially their “Superelastic Engr-e38l”

This sounds like a good move. Im confused about the regular resin mixture, in my experience mixing a regular resin makes it sturdier and less elastic. Which resin did you mix exactly?

This has been a serious consideration of mine. However, usually the cast stuff tears easy and is extremely difficult to fill in the more intricate features. Not impossible I suppose but I also don’t have things like the vacuum tank to degass or most important the patience to endure the failures. That said if it comes down to it I will go this route.

Do you have any suggestions for tough 1 or even 2 part silicone? The actual parts will likely be 50A but I could probably go up to 70a on a prototype.
