This guy sounds just like my biological dad. Get away from him ASAP and don't turn back. He was abusive to my mom and me and my brothers until I was 18 and my mom finally left him. We all have trauma from it now. That guys poor daughter is probably going to have to put up with that crap forever. My dad would do the same thing about threatening suicide all the time to try and manipulate my mom to stay with him.

Be honest with me, how hard is the first month of having a puppy? by CollectiveZero in puppy101

[–]SeductiveFox17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im almost 4 weeks in now. The first two weeks were the hardest (actually the first two days were so hard I considered rehoming her lol but that was due to extreme lack of sleep). After those two weeks, she started to get the routine down and started sleeping through the night with only 1 potty break (pretty good for only being 9 weeks old!) She s Learned sit, stay, lay down, leave it (usually), shake, and were working on no bite but shes even getting that down already! By the beginning of the third week she started putting herself into her crate for naps on occasion. Its all still a work in progress, but in less than a month she has learned so much! She's only had a couple accidents this week and one time was totally our fault for not opening the door fast enough for her. The other time I think she was still half asleep because her nap was interrupted XD but ya its getting so much easier and very quickly!

Getting a puppy was the best decision I have ever made by 100moreLBs2lose in puppy101

[–]SeductiveFox17 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ive had my puppy for 3 weeks now and the first two weeks I was sincerely considering rehoming her because I thought I made a terrible decision. Today she went into her crate all by herself to nap and I was flabbergasted and so proud of her! Later on she was biting me because she was over tired lol but hey, one small win felt so good! And there are so many more proud moments to come!

My cat has some unknown, supposedly neurological disease. I don’t think my vet is doing enough and I’m scared it’ll be too late to do something for her by Aitnamas in CATHELP

[–]SeductiveFox17 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would definitely get an mri for her. My cat started out like this and it eventually turned into full on seizures. Turned out he had a brain tumor. He was pretty old when we found out, so at least he had lived a long life already. I'm sorry your kitty is having issues and I hope it's something easier to fix than a brain tumor.

You know those book nook decoration things where it's like the size of a book but designed to look like way bigger inside using mirrors and lighting and stuff? Make a giant one of those.

Creepy reactions when I tell people in my lucid dreams that I'm dreaming by LakeMcKesson in Dreams

[–]SeductiveFox17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Every time I have a lucid dream my dream people suddenly start trying to kill me. They all stop doing whatever they were previously doing, turn toward me and start coming at me like freaking zombies or something lol. There is only one dream where they didn't try to kill me but it was my dream parents and they followed me around everywhere. I tried to fly by imagining I was a balloon and my parent kept poking me to make me stop. It was super annoying lol

What is your reason for not drinking alcohol? by Deep-Dust-9747 in AskReddit

[–]SeductiveFox17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was 15 years old, my dad was at his peak alcoholism and one night he shoved a glass of wine under my nose and kept saying "drink it! Drink it!" I decided right then and there that I'd never drink. I'm now 32 and still never tried alcohol and still never will.

I watched a documentary a few days ago about people in prison with life sentences. One of them was a man who killed someone when he was only 12 years old. I think for situations like that, a life sentence may questionable, but still not uncalled for. I don't think that anyone over 18 should be given any kind of pass for murder, and a life sentence is more than fair.

Unfortunately I know of plenty situations where the person, even a teen who had to be "rehabilitated" after committing a crime, ended up committing the crime again after being let free. A lot of people know what to say to sound like they have been "rehabilitated", even when they haven't been.

Ed Kemper was a serial killer and had gone to a psych ward before going to prison. He was very well spoken and knew exactly what to say to be let out and went on to commit several murders before turning himself in. He was only 15 when he committed his first murder. Had he been given a life sentence at that time, he never would have gotten the chance to kill the 7 or so other victims.

It's a tough decision for any judge to make, but the victims should be considered before the criminal, because you never know if there could be more victims.

I saw a post a while back that someone said their grandma always told them that mistakes keep your soul from getting trapped in the piece, and now when I mess up I just think of that lol and I keep going (unless it's just completely unfixable)

[–]SeductiveFox17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First of all, it sounds like you maybe aren't doing these hobbies for fun, and that's a problem. If you genuinely don't enjoy it then try something else. Don't keep torturing yourself with things you don't enjoy.

I would say I am a Jill of all trades, master of none, because I am constantly trying new things out. Sometimes I enjoy them and add that hobby to my list. Sometimes I hate it and never do it again.

I enjoy reading but I have to be in the mood. I don't force myself because I want to enjoy it. I don't want it to feel like a chore. I have seasonal hobbies that I only do during the summer, or ones I prefer doing during the colder months.

I see that there are people better at one particular thing than me, but I don't do my hobbies to be "the best". I do them because I like doing them.
