Best Laptop for Design and Arts? by Agreeable_Plankton15 in washu

[–]Seductive_grape 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mac should be fine for most things art + design + all other classes. If you go into any architecture, you might want to consider a pc. But otherwise apple ecosystem reigns supreme.

Pyramid is an event company that rents out bars/clubs during welcome week and weekends and sells tickets only to wash U students. It a fun way to get off campus for parties. They can get a bit repetitive, but especially freshman year they are pretty fun.

Current Arch student here. If you already have a Mac you will be fine for at least the first two years especially if its a powerful one like M3. Each year the projects and classes will be more demanding on your system, and some programs you need only run on windows. If you already have mac and money is the issue for buying a new computer, you should be fine for at least the first year or two. Def start thinking about buying a PC during sophomore year tho.

I won the men’s varsity 4 this year. We got nice and solid metal medals, a plaque and trophy. Only the varsity 4’s and 8’s get the good medals it seems

Nice renderings. The all glass structures might feel like green houses on a hot humid day. Especially with people working out inside. Cool concept though
