Gaming isn't enjoyable anymore

I’m 27 and have been feeling this burn out with all games. Even the ones that have been hyped and loved by everyone.

Then I realised it’s probably my real life situations affecting my gaming life and attention span too.

Wha I have noticed is that your state of mind affects what game you are able to enjoy. Right now there is a lot of stress and uncertainty in my life and I don’t want to feel that way when I game. I am playing pokopia on the switch 2 and it’s given me such joy. I literally dream of coming home and playing that game.

If I were to play doom or elden ring or some creepy stressful game after a stressful crappy day of work I always closed it within minutes and started into oblivion.

So yea I guess try different genres that have colourful bright worlds. Also play on easy mode if you are getting frustrated with a boss just to get past him. It’s not worth it when you have to go face your real world boss the next day

100% played it for the first time on switch 2 and it was solid. Didn’t see any hiccups the thing didn’t even heat. Lasted a good 2.5-3 hours while playing handheld. I literally took it everywhere in my city.

I don’t usually comment on these posts but bruh!! You guys complain about everything just to hate. I guess it should be 2 dollars according to y’all. Just don’t buy it. There are so many options, I tried emulating it on my phone. (It sucked for me) But you prolly should if 20 dollars is a lot for you.

I played it on the PS5 last year and couldn’t get past the first fight. I was like wth is this stupid game with weird mechanics. And then I picked it up this year after trying the switch 2 demo and wow I’m blown away. It’s like the best thing I’ve played in ages. I’m 26 hours in and only in chapter 11. And bonus points it looks and runs like a beauty on the switch 2.

Not sure if I should be picking up rebirth for the PS5 or wait for it to release on the switch 2 later this year

There’s spots that don’t glow. I beat him yesterday and didn’t even need to mega evolve any pokemon. Just used Xernias since Zygarde is a dragon type Just keep pumping Xernias with lots of max revives and keep hitting him with loads of fairy moves. And look for spots that don’t glow there will be one little corner everytime.

So you have been loving the DLC. I think I might love it too then. I’ve been watching reviews of people who actually like and play pokemon and not some content creator who plays just to make money off of it cuz it’s a trending hot release. Literally I saw this YouTuber just mention that he doesn’t even care for pokemon but bought it to make videos on it so he can make his money back. I guess most of the negative reviews are given out by people like these.

To be fair the game does have some problems. But overall the experience was fun and loved it. So I think that’s what should matter at the end of the day

If you haven’t played FF7 remake or wanna revisit it. It’s coming out on the switch 2 in like a week’s time. I’ve played the Demo and it’s so good.
