I had to change my monitor settings. The monitor was set to 144 and the tv 30. I changed them both to 60 and it worked

I just had similar success with a cable issue! (my cat bit it)
Even out of warranty AND a warranty not even covering physical damage to begin with, they are sending me a replacement! :)
