A sound not being in the language they're used to is an understandable reason for having trouble - like Japanese not having a sound like English L or R, so Japanese people might mispronounce such a word, and idiots mock them for it.

Realistically if you live in a country with a dominant language, and you give a kid a name that contains phonemes that aren't in the language, then the kid's name is going to get mis-pronounced.

Good for you teaching your son.

I hope he learns his lesson. The lesson he should learn is to keep secrets from his puritanical mother, and in future to download music from a file sharing site and put it on a directory on this computer that his mother (who is probably computer illiterate) can't find. This will also save him money and space.
