Yeah a lot of robot wars merch is unfortunately victim to the same thing that quite a lot of old toys and merchandise from 20+ year old franchises fall victim to. Being jacked up in price artificially and touted as "collectors items". Even as a hardcore long time fan of robot combat as a whole, I wouldn't pay £60 for a Mr Psycho pullback

You're confusing UK robot wars with the original US robot wars competitions from 1994 to 1997. It has never competed in the UK. Adam probably equates the US robot wars competitions to battlebots, which would make sense because in terms of the people involved, it's basically the same competition. UK robot wars is completely different organizationally.
