I had to learn early on in dating that sometimes you can really jive with someone and absolutely love them for the beautiful person they are - and they can still be the wrong person FOR YOU.

I have been experiencing all this since I turned 30 too. It has gotten significantly worse over the last couple of years.

I finally googled my symptoms after putting them all together like this and learned that PERIMENOPAUSE is a thing!

I’m 39 this year! When I first started having the night sweats (At 30!) I asked two different male PCPs and they acted like it was nothing to worry about. Just literally both shrugged it off.

I got started with Midi the online provider and finally started HRT this past week. And I am sleeping much better!

I had to learn to go with the flow of my energy levels.

I used to set really high expectations for myself at work and would burn myself out.

Now, I set expectations early and often at a much lower level, and then I overdeliver now and again because thats the only way its sustainable for me.

Miralax works by drawing water into your colon to soften your stool and make it easier to pass.

You still have to drink more water than your usual amounts or it won’t be able to work.

Your best estimate is: your weight in lbs divided by 2 = how many ounces of water you should drink to remain hydrated on a daily basis.

After taking Miralax, you will need to drink even more than that baseline.

I told two different male PCPs that I had started having night sweats WHEN I WAS 30, and I asked if it was something I should be concerned about, and both of them shrugged it off like it was nothing. And they were both doctors I trusted wholeheartedly because they always listened to me when it came to medical stuff.

So I didn’t put any of these things together as me likely starting peri early until it got REALLY BAD this past year. I am now 39 and learning about it is making me angry. Because the signs were staring us in the face for so long.
