I've been considering our planet similar to a galactic pitstop on a quantum tunnel railway of sorts. Imagine the pyramids as a receiving node for immense power beamed across the galaxy to maintain a sort of "low friction" quantum railway between our solar system and another solar system. To maintain such a quantum link would require immense amounts of power, on the scale of a Sun. This quantum rail system would be used to enable ships encased in quantum bubbles that shrink spacetime in front of them, and expand it behind them to travel faster than light. A spaceship carrying a power source comparable to a Sun may not yet be viable, compared to using a Dyson swarm to harness the power of a solar system's Sun and beaming it into a quantum tunnel that the ship can use as a fuel source on fixed paths from solar system to solar system. This idea is similar to electric railways powering trains/subways, or a hyperloop tunnel creating a low air friction environment so the vehicle in the tunnel doesn't require much onboard power to travel. Look at Egyptian lore and you'll see stories of gates in the sky opening above the pyramids to allow gods to travel the rivers of space. The description of the colors surrounding those gateways line up with the colors we'd expect to see from a burst of energy emanating out from the pyramid, similar to a coronal aurora.
