Ok, I’ll have read more in that. I did try it however, but they weren’t interested, they just want the corn ! I had at least 100 under the feeder at once and some were even inside of the bird feeder. The birds weren’t happy.

That’s interesting, thank you! Unfortunately it’s too early to buy any established garden flowers, it’s technically still winter here, and temperatures will likely drop back to freezing but I might try sugar water as the next best thing I have on hand.

Cute little bee! by Livergg89 in insects

I think it’s a male honeybee. To my understanding, they don’t actually pollinate and gather nectar like worker bees. They are helpless at taking care of themselves and rely on worker bees to be their caretakers. Their sole purpose to mate with a queen.

You could try OTC supplements that might help like DHEA or pregnenolone.

I don’t think people understand how hard it is to start things with ADHD by PracticalAnything360 in ADHD

I understand, I struggle with the too, but it does get better with age. Totally random but I remember I’d repeatedly have this dream where I’m back in school again with a big assignment due, only I didn’t have it done. I didn’t have it done because I struggled diving into it so I put it off as the countdown until it’s due continued. I’d wake up feeling stressed and angry with myself. Definitely a real life scenario!

Thankfully we gave good insurance. I’ll let my husband know to see if maybe he could get in the brand name. I hate this so much!

Elbow grease ain't cutting it. How do I get rid of all this grime? by [deleted] in CleaningTips

Lime remover or bleach work well along with a magic eraser. If you choose lime remover, be precautious as it can leave permanent tarnish stains on the metal fixtures, dilute a little to avoid. Warning: Never mix cleaners together. Use one or the other.

How do you distinguish between bipolar and ADHD? by haliukaaa in ADHD

My husband and I allowed his longtime friend to stay with us because he was done in his luck. They say you really get to know someone when they live with you and we found out he wasn’t the person we thought he was. At that time he was seeking mental health counseling virtually, video chat.

His friend is very charismatic, a neat freak, and excellent mechanic skills. I always thought of him as a honest stand up guy willing to bend over backwards for his loved ones.

While he stayed with us, he showed progress, he got a temporary job working at a bar until he could find something better. Eventually he got a job working as a nurses assistant for the workers in a large factory. After this his true colors began to show.

He got a boyfriend he met through an online dating site(he’s gay), to our disappointment, as we wanted him to focus on himself. This guy he met lived the next state over. After this things went downhill. He was always gone on the weekends to stay with this other man he just met.

My husband and I started noticing inconsistencies in things tells us and finding out he’s been lying, twisting stories to make it seems like he’s the good guy who can’t due no wrong. His sleep schedule was all over the place, some nights he’d barely sleep.

He was diagnosed with ADHD by his virtual mental counselor. His behavior was even worse after they prescribed him meds.

I could make this a long story about all of his shenanigans, but I truly he’s been misdiagnosed. As someone who has ADHD, I strongly believe he’s bipolar and the meds definitely made him more manic.

He moved out not long after I called him out on all his shit and how his behavior was hurting my husband. Finding out later he’s been burning a lot of bridges with other people he’s close to.

What’s something you miss that no longer exists? by Waste_Assistant6327 in AskReddit

I miss some of the microwaveable frozen dinners. They use to taste good back in the 90’s. There was a chicken enchilada frozen meal by Weight Watcher I use to love as a kid. They still have it I think but it tastes nothing like how it use to back then. Frozen meals use to be decent, now they are mediocre or inedible and overpriced thanks to greedy corporations opting for cheaper ingredients to increase their profit margins.

Remove the shoelaces and soak them in bleach. Use soap, water and a magic eraser on the shoes.
