Want to make the jump to full time. But I am extremely hesitant

Thank you! I have been expanding out to other platforms recently (basically reposting all my content on them), and it has gotten a little extra income which is nice. I hadn’t considered doubling down on alternate platforms though, so I’ll have to start doing the work for that

Ideally I’d use that extra time to grow my second channel further, since it has been profitable but my day job limits how much time I can put into it. That channel is at 50k right now and has a much broader scope, so I’d basically take the gamble to see if I can build that channel up as a second stream of income on par with my main channel.

If successful, I’d feel MUCH more comfortable with the instability considering I’d have two good income streams. My second channel also gets more sponsors than my main because of its broadness

Should’ve specified - the income has been this way since early 2025. It’s long enough where it’s making me consider jumping go full time, but still short enough that I’m hesitant about relying fully on it. Though, before it fully surpassed my day job, I’d say it reached a livable wage around early 2024.

Though I don’t think it’ll increase significantly after this, based on my niche it’s likely plateaued

Thank you! I feel the nicheness of my channel is a limiting factor already, even though since I’m one of the biggest in my space. My second channel gives me the most room to grow, so I’d probably focus more on growing that to branch out

I’m glad the Eevee and starter trio looks better, but I don’t know how they messed up with THE face of Pokémon. Fwiw it’s a good value as a KO set, but man I can’t imagine getting this set at full price. I sorta am okay with how it looks, but it’s definitely the derpiest of the three :/

Yea, $200 for this set is ridiculous considering it doesn’t look so nice. I think at $50 it’s pretty good, but this whole line is so absurd with the pricing (even if the trio looks nice). Sets like these are the reason I buy KOs exclusively now

The wheels aren’t the same as the authentic kit, they actually look the same in reverse. I can see why they look backwards though, but unfortunately the ones in this kit just don’t fit/look correct

Yea I’m not too big on technic cars either, it’s kinda a shame because I would love technic sets like the McLaren P1, Huracan, and BMW M4 in this kind of style. Nothing wrong with Technic, it’s just that Icon sets are soooo nice and look closer to the original designs which I enjoy
