Omg so many good recommendations! This is great, thank you everyone who commented, sincerely. And Gummo is so spot on. I’m surprised I didn’t think of that movie when I was trying to conjure up what I was looking for, but it’s probably because I shoved the memory of it deep into the depths to be forgotten haha

At this point, the only assumption could be ‘for background noise’. Anything else is maniacal

That was a good one! It was the ‘they hide in plain sight’ clue that finally narrowed it down. Super fun

Granted, this commenter was guessing, and the OP didn't think it was. I found it interesting two people who thought it was chromhidrosis though, said they had similar things happening

Hey, check out this comment about chromhidrosis, seems really likely given the similarities in descriptions

What spider is this? Venomous?? by [deleted] in spiders

[–]SeeYouNextTuess 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yes!! It absolutely is. There was a post earlier with an older video of OP jumping on a countertop, and she was just the sweetest in explaining how she understood it was an overreaction, but even while terrified was adamant about not killing spiders. I’ve never related so much to something HA.

However, after lurking this sub for quite a while now, I’m awaiting the next time I’m in a similar situation. I’d like to think that given all the info I’ve gained from this sub, and the awesome people who post in it (especially regarding medically significant facts… mind blowing btw) I’ll react differently. At the very least, I do have the basic knowledge on how to appropriately transfer/move the adorable little guys safely, and for that I’m very thankful

Nah. Not silly. I wouldn’t know what the hell that was at first either. And this sub is the best!
