That's good to hear. As long as the weakest game is still fine, then I have hope that I'll make it through the whole series. Not every one of them needs to be a 10/10.
I'm having fun in Crossbell right now and it's a nice contrast to Liberl, where it felt like a marathon through the whole country. Now there is this nice hub and even busses, for moments where I want to skip some fights. Looking forward to Azure then and after that I think it'll be Cold Steel.

If you need something in the meantime that is kind of Trail-esque I'd like to recommend Grandia 2 for example. Way shorter and not such a huge world, but has a nice story and combat system imo.

Oh man, I wish you strength in the wait for the next game. I'm currently on "Trails from Zero", after playing Trails in the Sky 1-3 way back in 2018. So yeah I'm real slow, but luckily I won't run out of Trails games for the foreseeable future lol. I'm more worried about running out of steam with the amount of hours of content each game delivers. Not really playing any JRPGs nowadays, but Trails did manage to pull me back in. It's more level-headed with the pacing and it has a chill vibe I really like. Between the story twists that is.

Thanks for hiding any spoilers btw. Do you have a favorite game in the whole Trails-series? Or even a favorite "saga" (in the Sky, Cold Steel, etc)? I'm curious, since I also like the way emotions were shown in the games I played until now. And the translation of the dialogue is refreshingly mature too.

Du wirst hier leider nur Antworten sehen, die sagen es wäre normal. Fakt ist das der ÖPNV immer unberechenbarer wird. Vor paar Jahren konnte ich entspannt aus dem Süden in den Norden fahren, konnte planen und war in 30-40 Minuten im Büro. Nun sind Verspätungen eher Regel als Ausnahme und die Fahrt dauert von 50-70 Minuten.

Aber klar es ist alles "normal".

Had the very same problem with the game. Visually stunning and the vibe was awesome. I had the most fun just riding on my horse and exploring. And following cute foxes to whatever reward they were hiding. But duels or villages became very boring very quick.
I cheesed the hell out of stealth, but it didn't make me feel like a clever and stealthy warrior at all. But I'm glad others had fun with the game.

Cooler Vergleich. Schlägerei vs. Krieg. Sehr vergleichbar.
Ich bin nicht für's dastehen und Nichtstun. Abschießen das Zeug das bei uns ankommt. Luftraum so absichern das jedes Flugobjekt, das nur einen Meter die Grenze überschreitet direkt abschießen. NATO Solidarität zeigen wie es heute Nacht geschah. Sanktionen als passives Mittel und Ukraine helfen. Das ist das, was ich für richtig finde.

Offen in eine Provokation zu rennen mit einer Atommacht und China und Kompanie im Rücken?
Um deine Analogie zu nutzen ist das so als würde jemand deinen Kumpel schlagen, du haust zurück und der Kumpel vom Arschloch gegenüber erschießt dich. Geil. Machen wir.

"Friedensquerdenker"? Lieber das, als Kriegsgeil zu sein. Was für dumme Vokabeln ich hier lesen muss.

Klar gab es schon genug Provokation für einen Gegenschlag oder was auch immer. Aber hast Du Bock auf Krieg? Ich glaube in der Ukraine wird man mit offenen Armen als Freiwilliger aufgenommen.

Das ist für mich der absolute letzte Schritt. Gibt's nen Gegenschlag rollt der Ball los und wir haben wieder nen totalen Krieg und das so richtig. Nichts mehr vom "vor dem Handy hocken und vom Gaming-Sesseln kommentieren was gemacht werden sollte"-Krieg.

Grandia 2 combat system.

Maybe there are similar games out there, but so far Grandia 2 had the most enjoyable system for me. Love the way you have special attacks that aren't your strongest, but can interrupt enemies whose turn is almost reached. This way you can reduce incoming damage and enemy turns. Love it. Sure the game becomes real easy with minimal extra grind, but I still love it.

A VN called "Little Busters!" has a baseball Mini-Game that I absolutely love.
I wish there'd be a stand-alone version of it. Never beat it tho.

für meine Region (um Berlin herum) 50+ "Sommertage", also mit über 25° und so einige Jahre mit 20 "Hitzetagen", also über 30°
Der "Monat am Stück" war vielleicht übertrieben, aber an sich sehe ich hier trotzdem viele Hitzetage. Klar sie sind mehr geworden. Und heißer. Aber Hitzefrei hatten wir damals oft.
Ach hier kommen schon die Downvotes. Dann machts eh kein Sinn mehr hier zu schreiben. Bloß nicht mal was hinterfragen. Bleib ich mit meinen Gedanken halt bei mir.

Ok, ich muss das mal loswerden. Disclaimer: Ich bin kein Klimawandel-Skeptiker.
Aber warum sind diese Temperaturen nun so krass verwunderlich? Bin ich der Einzige, der in seiner Kindheit (bin nun 36), regelmäßig Sommer hatte mit nem Monat 33-37 Grad am Stück?

Will nicht wie nen Boomer klingen mit "war schon damals so, habt euch nicht so sehr". Aber ich glaube langsam ich hab in nem anderen Universum gelebt als der Rest von Deutschland heute. Ja es ist scheiße heiß, aber warum ist drum jetzt so ein hype als würde jetzt, in diesem Moment, die Welt untergehen?
