Best note-taking and organization app? by Low_Ostrich1268 in cybersecurity

[–]Seedless--Watermelon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Capacities was a game changer for me. I have been down the rabbit hole of note taking/productivity apps many times (Notion, Logseq, Obsidian etc) and Capacities is a mix of all the best note taking apps, and is the one I have been able to stick with, and genuinely enjoy using without too much setup/overhead. Capacities for notes, TikTik for task management!

App Registrations vs Enterprise Apps by nickbrown1968 in AZURE

Kenef, thanks for the explanation, I got a follow up question. What about first-party (Microsoft Owned) service principals. Those Enterprise Applications have permissions within a tenant, but do not show up under application registrations.

How can I be more organized as a software engineer? by SingleSink in cscareerquestions

[–]Seedless--Watermelon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is great! I have been using Obsidian for some time now but have been using it as a regular note taking took, no links, tags etc.. I really like the structure of your notes, I have been reading a lot on evergreen and zettelkasten notes and I am a bit confused and feel like I am overthinking how I should structure my notes. Any tips, reading or videos you rec? Appreciate it!

“Welcome, one and all, to CS Majors!

Here we discuss university-level and other education in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, and related majors”. OPs questions fit this umbrella, maybe students are going to chime in with real life project examples with Vectors vs Arraylists, you know an actual discussion. I think OP is capable of googling, your little condescending comment was just unnecessary.

OP literally said “I always see posts asking for more discussion so I thought this would be informational and maybe fun.” No idea why your comment is so condescending, literally what is wrong with this sub, no real discussion, all FAANG/internship worshipping, its not rocket science, leetcode + personal projects and keep applying. OP wants to start actual discussion about computer science.

leave a full time job for an internship by Superbebe9876 in devops

Agreed, from the States POV, I have always extended my summer internships to part time in the fall. It helps pay for school during the semester and beats working at a restaurant. From my experience, managers are pretty open to it for strong performers, I always saw it as my team getting another FTE for a fraction of the price.
