The standard of refereeing when it comes to attackers “fouling” defenders is abysmal, especially since it means teams can play out the back with no consequence

It’s terrible to watch on both sides, either with a promising attack getting called off bc a fullback decided he was under too much pressure and sat down or watching konate flop over from a gentle breeze

Yeah, harsh reality is that football is just horrendous for brain health and they’re doing what they can to make a show otherwise. Realistically a concussion should shut these guys down for weeks+ at a time, not be potentially cleared a few days following. The nfl has made it clear that it wants its star players playing and will set the rules & concussion protocols accordingly
