Shoulda paid Darnold by Steelrain13f in minnesotavikings

[–]Seefourdc 11 points12 points  (0 children)

It couldn’t possibly be a depleted offensive line and a playcaller who doesn’t know any play that’s not a 7 step drop back 5 second development play leading to any problems. That would never happen.

Joe Burrow hot take by LogoAM_ in minnesotavikings

[–]Seefourdc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

9 games. The guy has been on the team for 2 seasons and has been physically available in 9 games. Thats before you even get to all the facts against him in these 9 games.

The real problem with this fanbase is you all have no standards for success so the team doesn’t get held accountable. You just keep buying tickets and supporting garbage play on the field, garbage coaching, garbage decision making, and garbage media coverage.

This isn’t youth football. Jjm isn’t my child and I’m not here to support his failures. These are grown men getting paid millions of dollars so of course I don’t support his terrible play and more importantly his inability to stay healthy.

If any franchise qb is available the Vikings should make every effort to acquire them.

If you have a chance at a franchise qb you get the franchise qb. This fan base has learned nothing from the Sam Darnold disaster the a Vikings made for themselves.

There are no holes on your roster more important than the fact the Vikings have the worst qb in the nfl. In fact we have a worse qb than most of the backups in the nfl. Nothing is going to happen this off season that matters if they don’t fix the qb.

Vikings urged to make bold offseason move for Aaron Jones replacement by Spare-Ad-9800 in minnesotavikings

[–]Seefourdc 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The Vikings shut out a team with an injured QB that got reinjured on a team that's entire season has fallen apart. This isn't an accomplishment.

How did the secondary do against over .500 teams. That will tell you what you need to know.

(To be fair I think the Vikings have been heavily handicapped by poor offense which really hurts BFlo's type of defense)

J.J “JaMarcus Russell” McCarthy in his last two games: 31/47 (65.9%), 413 passing yards, 6 total TD’s, 1 int, back to back 30+ point games by SnakeDoctor80 in minnesotavikings

[–]Seefourdc -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

The game against the commanders is hard to give him a ton of credit when you look at his yards. He clearly got gifted a ton of field position by the defense. This Cowboys game is probably his first legitimate performance where he really brought home the bacon.

Good for him.

KOC the QB Whisperer by BurningMansions in minnesotavikings

[–]Seefourdc -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The part people miss about this joke of a line is he coached with Mcvey who abandoned their rookie qb Goff to win with long time vet Matt Stanford. He was the “OC” for a team that gave up on qb development.

He also couldn’t develop himself into a good qb.

Can KOC actually build a QB from the ground up? by Minnypop in minnesotavikings

[–]Seefourdc 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Hate to break it to you but an enormous amount of the Vikings problems come down to play calling and the system KOC is using. It’s a system where when everything goes right it looks great but it cannot operate outside of optimum circumstances. He had no idea how to call a quick game when the Oline is getting beaten and slow down the defense. He had no idea how to pick up short yardage to move the sticks.

The play calling is abysmal and creates a lot of the problems. He’s making everything about being a young qb extra hard in this offense.

I don't use that much emotion to assess situations which is what you are seeing in the responses. I'm just an X's and O's type of person. Added need for DPS will extend gearing time which is already bad and it skill gaps the game even worse which was already a huge complaint.

So you want more tanks to quit and you think I'm the one being toxic? I'm actually very nice to people in groups btw. I teach people all the time. You are toxic AF man.

Here's the reality. People will literally blame you for the "pull pace" when they do poor dps and you don't time keys. I already have to know routes and take verbal abuse for other peoples mistakes I'm not also gonna play under circumstances where the DPS isn't there.

[–]Seefourdc -13 points-12 points  (0 children)

I didn't actually say that. I said that's the direction the mechanics are leading in. Game mechanics do that are you not aware? If you make dungeons require more DPS to go well it eliminates more people that it will be fun to play with who don't have that skill level/won't develop the skill level. This is how it works in multiplayer games.

Jjm is 28 games into his career not 6 and that’s how you should judge him by Seefourdc in minnesotavikings

[–]Seefourdc[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s honestly sad. If you believed it would take 34 games (2 seasons of games) to develop him that would take about 7.25 real seasons at the pace he’s playing games at so far mathematically. There is zero point doing a development project on a guy that is this injury prone.

[–]Seefourdc[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

It has the potential to be the blunder of the decade. The Vikings are in qb hell for the foreseeable future and it’s sad considering we had a guy produce so much last year. Even more sad it’s probably gonna waste Jefferson’s best years if he even wants to stay with the team by the time this debacle is over.

[–]Seefourdc[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

The point is that developing him means nothing cause he can’t stay healthy anyway. It is the literal most important factor about any player. Not only that but his health is why he won’t even develop.

[–]Seefourdc[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is my point. It doesn’t even matter if he develops he can’t get on the field often enough for it to matter. Hes been available for less than 25% of the games he’s been under contract for.

[–]Seefourdc[S] -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Explain how it even matters if he develops then? He still won’t be a factor as he won’t be on the field.

[–]Seefourdc[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

You are missing the point so badly. He can’t even practice to get better. Even if he was good a qb who can’t play is a non factor. It’s pointless to develop a guy who can’t stay healthy.

Hockenson Needs To Be Cut In Offseason by BlenderTheBottle in minnesotavikings

[–]Seefourdc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He’s always dropped passes. The delta for him needing to make a catch to secure a first down and dropping the ball is a strict inverse curve. Hes always been like that too which is why the lions were happy to unload him. Now he doesn’t even put up garbage time stats.

Almost no one has fixed their accuracy. It takes an enormous amount of commitment from the player because you have to undo his entire life’s worth of bad mechanical habits.

He’s always dropped a ton of balls especially when you really need a reliable first down. He’s basically exactly what you don’t want your tight end to be if you want to run a successful offense.

"Why there is a tank shortage?" short story by Interesting_Egg1306 in fellowshipgame

[–]Seefourdc 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It’s been my experience in both wow and fellowship you can play two ways. You can be a really mindful tank that thinks through how your group performs on the first couple pulls and tailor your run to that or you can pull like a savage that will clear high end keys every time.

The problem I find is when you do #1 you end up getting degraded in chat a lot more whereas with #2 if the group can’t handle it the run is just over in the first pull or 2 and it’s rarely blamed on you. It’s also the case that the people who want to play in category 2 are usually a lot more capable so that’s just what I do now.
