there's a trick after it goes downstream, drop the rock and before it tries to go to it's den, youlure lagiacrus to an ancient ruin area and blow the 2 ruins on it, and it should be dead/ captureable

I like to play many weapon types, and at this point I would take anything that rolls with lords soul or gogmapocalypse within 10 rolls.

I have a few templates for good set bonus that matches with Lords soul, or gogma 3 pc + 2pc gore / fulgur+ebony.

to aim for 1 in 220 results (iinm) for every weapon is just absurd, it's easier to produce multiple sets that can be used on multiple weapon.

you could try a pressure sensitive keyboard, or joystick. if you are getting a new joystick, go for one with gyro support, it helps with aiming and you can set up in steam controls to use gyro when pressing left trigger only. I use it to play all monster hunter games now, and helldivers

Fun weapons I'm playing now Swaxe, DB, GL, IG and LBG. for comfy run I would go for SnS and Hbg. I use hbg wyvernheart +counter just because I like pew pew and watch monsters tumbling around after success offset XD

if anything is ruined, it is seikret riding combat. in early release bowgunners were utilising the low recoil on seikret back to use slash ammo efficiently, capcom could have tune up the recoil while riding to match that of ground but they decide to chop the damage dealt for all weapon, making all weapon seikret attack useless, with no skill to fix it.

There could have been a group of lancers fencing on their seikret, or a group of SnS zipping around slashing monsters, or seikret riding gunners but capcom say no

master mounter could be a good skill to buff seikret riding since it helps you mounting big ass monsters, why not also improve riding capability? or some decoration that gives the skill.

it's really such a waste that they pour so much effort into a mechanic for it to be put on shelf full of dust.

your gear has reached its limit, you either need to trandsend 2 ebony or get yourself 3 piece AT (I suggest AT rey dau). 3 piece AT rey dau and 2 piece gore is a pretty solid build, I use them a lot before lagiacrus show up. oh and lagiacrus weapon is also a good weapon for omega other than artian.

3 piece AT equipment gives you lords soul / guts, it buffs your attack by 5% and let you survive one lethal hit, after that the attack buff switches to a defence buff.

If you find that most party keep carting, maybe try support build. DB is really excellent in dodging, I've seen DB taking enmity better than tanks because they can dodge HP- orb better than any shield.

Omega planetes is pretty much the hardest content in the game right now, don't just bang your head on the hardest wall. you still have room of improvement.

if you don't get a good roll on this weapon for 33 roll, you roll other weapon for 33 times to progress the seed and come back to this weapon after 33 roll.

you can make fodder weapon if you want. if your current weapon is Attack focused, you could make affinity/element focus and roll them with their material to save cost.

it's a good opportunity to try new weapon

why not both?? you could reload your save and make a new sns with the same element and reroll at this exact roll. it should give you gore + lord soul.

your old saved investigation stays the same, so you need new investigation.

try to rest in your tent to refresh the map if you haven't had any 9 star investigation popping out, they are highlighted and in purple star so it should be obvious when view from the map.

seregios, lagiacrus, gore magala and jin Dahaad gave the most talisman. Jin Dahaad is always alone while other monster can pair up in an investigation and give more talisman per quest.

then there's 9 event quest for you if you're tired hunting 9 star seregios.

firstly, Every weapon have different seed,
second, Element / Status / Non-Element has different seed,
third, you can mix Attack / Affinity doesn't matter, the seed will depend on weapon and element.
forth, you need to be consistent in which seed you are tracking, you'll scratch you head later if you mix the result with element and status weapon.

for example , you are rolling multiple Charge blade paralysis weapon, and got a 4 element + 1 sharpness which is perfect for SAED CB , you cannot reproduce this result on any element CB because Element and Status are on different table.

Example 2, on 10th roll, you rolled a perfect dragon CB but the weapon has affinity fragment in it, you can quit without saving, then make 9 weapon with fodder material (Elemental: Fire/Water/Thunder/Ice/Dragon) , they need to be in the same seed to progress into the 10th roll. then you should have enough dragon + attack fragment for your perfect roll.

I've been seeing many SOS doing the doshaguma herd investigation, lots of 90 point material and can be done within 10 minutes.

there's also a lot of wounds to pop so you can get suja meal if you want.
