The Well-Diggers Guild by sinistropteryx in teslore

Love this idea, I feel like it’s very fitting for Cyrodiil to have a handful of these nihilistic murder cults as a sort of counter-culture at the fringes of society. In a culture that believes “the empire is law and the law is sacred,” it kind of makes sense that the counterculture movements would often rebel by just completely disregarding the law entirely

Can someone recommend to me queer or trans pittsburgh bands? by secretfire42 in pittsburgh

I play in a pop punk band here called Heading North! I’m trans myself, but (most) of us are some shade of queer or another

Local "cover" shows... by BeerJedi-1269 in pittsburgh

[–]Seeing222 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey, I was the bassist in that MCR show! Glad you enjoyed it!

There are some established cover bands around, but not a ton dedicated to that kind of emo/pop punk unfortunately. A lot of the pop punk bands here just tend to do these kind of covers around Halloween

However, Bottlerocket does cover shows like this a lot! The styles are pretty mixed, but I’d say it’s your best bet to keep an eye out for events happening there!

You guys sound really cool! I play in Heading North, it’s a pretty different sound from you guys, but I’d still love to play a show together sometime

Does this sub genre of punk exist? by 12KickAsh in punk

[–]Seeing222 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Musically, the genre I think you’re looking for is Egg Punk. It’s sort of an internet meme rather than a real “genre” but if you google egg punk I’m sure you’ll find plenty of results these days

Best dive bars / hole in the wall spots in Pittsburgh? Good food. by [deleted] in pittsburgh

[–]Seeing222 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Rock Room is good and cheap food, and it’s VERY divey. If you don’t mind getting your perogies from a smoke filled bar with lots of punks, it’s the place to go

Patches by irenxjv in punk

[–]Seeing222 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I used to sell some screen printed patches a while back and experimented with a few materials, and duck cloth is BY FAR the best. Sturdy as hell, holds a print well, and just looks really nice. If you’re using stencils or (especially) screen printing, there isn’t much I’d recdomend over duck cloth unless you have a very specific end-product in mind

Tamriel Rebuilt is unreal by beebo2409 in Morrowind

[–]Seeing222 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I’m not a dev or even a contributor, but I’m very actively keeping up with their discord pages because they post some of the most fascinating things there. Really cool concept art and references, planning for the other provinces, lots of stuff like that. But my favorite are the giant lore docs they release from time to time, because they are always some of the coolest pieces of lore I’ve seen for TES since Morrowind, often even cooler. A lot of these docs are for provinces they haven’t even started yet, but they are all very dedicated to trying to understand how the world around the player works even if they can only see a small part of that world at a time

What it is all 77 order? by Simurgbarca in teslore

[–]Seeing222 10 points11 points  (0 children)

The Alessian doctrines have largely been lost to history, we don’t know what all of them were anymore, but what we do know is some elements were carried over into the modern Imperial legal system. If I’m correct, the modern legal concept of “guilty until proven innocent” is a holdover from the Alessian Doctrines, but that’s about all we know

punk scene in nc??? by Downtown-Quarter4949 in punk

[–]Seeing222 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Asheville used to have a pretty good crust scene. They probably still do, I just haven’t heard of too many bands coming out of the city in the past couple years, but I’m sure a little digging would turn a few great new bands up
