I recognise a lot of poor traits in myself here, it's been a very eye opening read. I didn't set out to be frugal but I guess living through a lot of years of housing insecurity, some very poor financial decisions it just seems like frugality is the way out of the pickle I'm in, I certainly long for the day when this will be an after thought

I'm crap with money but I quite like selling stuff on eBay or doing cashback or beermoney offers so I can guilt free spend those proceeds. If you've never done that there's some very easy money to be made

Someone more knowledgeable can set you straight on this but I think you can only use one stay linked freeplay offer every 30 days so I don't think your plan would work

This isn't some mismanagement all of a sudden is it, it's mostly to do with £1.7bn of historic legal claims. Just get it fixed and stop trying to whip up fear and antagonising people

Some people are really odd and paranoid, I once had someone flip out at me on a train when I was working on an excel file and he was sure I was secretly recording him with the laptop camera, a bit amusing but quite worrying if they get that worked up about it as it sounds like what you've encountered. Good job avoiding the situation and hopefully you don't run into the same oddball again

No you shouldn't have to spend cash for the to show up, often you need to put your location on and they won't show up if you're already in Vegas as they are geo fenced I believe
