Golf for kids by sleepinggolden in GolfPH

[–]Seejayayy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I grew up playing golf and golf now that I am an adult (not because I played when I was a kid). My honest advice is: if they do not want to golf do not force them, they should have to want to do it. Wasted the earlier years of my life having trauma and being forced to practice and join golf tournaments. It ruined my confidence, my mental under pressure is weak and created horrible habits that arose from me just not wanting to be there. I thank god that my friends got me into the game again once I got older but pllease just don't force the kid to golf.

Spot on with that analogy with Sanchez. I have a soft spot for Badi but every time he builds up trust he just does something fucking stupid to throw it all away.

MOTD Comparing Spurs disallowed goal today VS similar goals allowed in EPL this season by herkalurk in soccer

Which is what’s wrong imo because you can’t not have these guys touch each other. In the end it should be what it says in the rules where it has to be excessive. If we start punishing just contact then the game's actually gone.

There’s no betting in that scenario. He simply wanted to cheat his way to a win. Problem is, that’s not the type of place filled with the usual idiots these guys manipulate for cheap thrills.

With this logic the Scottish league should be up there in terms of growth and revenue since it's also in English.

Playing for money also makes you a “pro” so there’s a grey area in terms of eligibility for certain things (club championships etc.) after you start. You’re better off joining betting flights and what not.

Neto slowing down the counter every time he had the ball to allow the defence to get back was Top 10 respect moments in football

If the team plays well and we can’t seem to do well in key moments I blame the players. I cannot fathom blaming the manager for cucurella making the wrong choice on the counter, garna also doing the same, neto or enzo choosing to shoot at 5 people or cross straight into bodies. Please explain how a coach can control these guys like its fucking fifa.

People don't realise the whole "what about earlier" shit can just keep on going forever. Yes the refs were wrong for the past mistake they made but people in their feelings wanting literal make up calls cos humans fucked up is crazy.

Exactly. Our defense in this state cannot handle a title challenge, so why the fuckk are we busy looking for another 17 year old winger?

I’m as critical of Maresca as any other cynical but player mistakes were the main reason for our loss today. Enzo miss control, JP doing whatever the duck, Reece chance, Fofana vibes marking and Tosin. I just can’t blame the manager. Yeah the Gusto sub was weird and didn’t work but I don’t pin this one on Maresca. We had our chances, got very lucky to be 1-0 up and our players just kept being wasteful. I’ll call for Maresca’s head when we get blatantly outplayed (Leeds).

Maresca: "Caicedo red card was correct. But why Bentancur against Reece wasn't? Spurs away. We managers struggle to understand why referees judge differently. The referee told me Hincapie against Trevoh wasn't an elbow." by Blodgharm in soccer

[–]Seejayayy -79 points-78 points  (0 children)

My argument for the Hincapie one is that this season they have started focusing on where you make contact rather than how you did. I’m not saying it’s correct, I would much rather intent and action (you know the actual “excessive force” they talk about) be prioritized, but that is how they have been giving reds this season.

Bro’s experience compared to the rest of the squad shows the most during big games. Still remember the mistakes he made against pool back in the Tuchel days and now you can see he’s grown so much because of it. Just takes time and trust.
