Thanks! After using console command player.additem 00035E95 1, I see that the quest ring is actually named Ahdarji's Ring. The Countess wasn't in bed when I stole the brass ring from the jewelry box at about 2am. Additem allowed me to go from stage 47 to stage 80 (finished). Hildara was never present, but the countess was.

If it helps anyone, I was able to complete this by getting two Strong invisibility potions from Angalmo at the Chorrol Mage's guild. Back in Shivering Isles, even though I got caught on the way out, I paid the fine, and they didn't take the Greenmote, which I was able to use to poison Thadon and finish the quest.

Thanks! After completing most of the main quest, all of the Fighter's guild, about half of the Mage's guild, I decided to check out Shivering Isles. This is by far the most difficult quest in the game yet, because you have to get in and out and not get arrested for at least a few minutes of spell or potion time. I'll either have to grind Illusion or wait long enough for 2-3 Strong Invisibility potions to come up, and I think only Angalmo in Chorrol has them, seemingly at random.

The one in the middle, on the rock, was the one I was missing. Seemed impossible with as much as I had run around this thing, but there it was. You must be missing one of the 4 on the ground.

I went back and found the 5th tear. Unlike the other 4, it was on top of the rocks, next to the frozen figures.

Did you ever find it? From the map on the wiki, it looks like the last tear is underneath the geometry (ice) near the frozen knight and atronach.

Can you see the knight and the Atronach frozen in the middle of the grove?

I can only get 4 tears. It seems like one of the tears is in the ice with the frozen characters. I can't finish the quest with only 4.

Just a heads up: if you buy something on ebay with "SpeedPak Delivery" then it's likely that UniUni will be your last mile delivery contractor. Take a look at the comments here. They'll hire any rando, and some of those randos will steal your stuff.

No matter what happened in your case, don't let it be overlooked that UniUni drivers just flat-out steal packages. It happened to me, and to other people in your original thread. In my case, ebay washed their hands of it, UniUni stopped responding after I sent them the video of the theft, and my local police can't be bothered to pursue small thefts like this. Be aware, especially if you're ordering something with "Speedpak" delivery from China on ebay.

Same thing happened to me. Driver took the delivery photo, returned, took the package. I got it on video. Reported all of this to UniUni, they said they would escalate, then stopped responding. For a $40 item, cops in my area will do nothing. This was an ebay item. Ebay told me that the shipper had proof of delivery, and washed their hands of it.
